I. Express Yourself: Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Session I:How do we communicate? Approximate Time: 60 min Objective: Students will be taught how to properly express themselves and understand that everyone needs to find healthy ways of making themselves understood as well as learning to listen to the opinions of others.

Objective: Students will learn what their interests are and how to obtain success.

II. Character Development and Leadership Development

(Ages 5-12 years old)
Session I: Peer Pressure and Making Good Decisions
Approximate Time: 60 min
Objective: Through the use of film analysis, scenes from well-known youth friendly movies will be utilized to encourage youth to discover options and consequences when making choices in their own lives

II. Health and Life Skills
Approximate Time: 60 min
Session I: Love, Sex, and Dating (Coed) {**LBGTQ session available}
Objective: Students will identify what they want in relationships and acceptable and unacceptable interactions with the opposite sex.

III. My Community, My Home
Lesson A.- Learning About Your Community
Approximate Time: 60 min
Objective: Participants will reflect and value the world outside of their own homes and families. They will also identify and discuss characteristics and challenges they face within their own communities and strategies to improve their local communities

III. Cultural Development for Urban Youth
Session I: Beliefs and Values
Approximate Time: 60 min (twice a week)
Objective: Students will be taught how to properly express themselves, appreciate the diversity in cultural differences and ending urban and cultural stereotypes.
